Oxytocin treatment altered plasma biomarkers of inflammation. (Panel a) Inflammatory biomarker, serum amyloid A (SAA) was attenuated in oxytocin-treated obese mice relative to vehicle controls. (Panel b) There was an increase in the anti-inflammatory plasma marker, adiponectin compared to vehicle controls.
