  1. P values for association between genotypes and lipids levels were obtained by using general linear model adjusted for age, sex, body mass index, and ethnicity. Values are mean ± SD
  2. The dominant model was applied for all SNPs (rare homozygotes were grouped with heterozygotes and compared with common homozygotes), except SNPs rs405509 and rs1160985 where additive model was applied (common homozygotes vs. heterozygotes vs. rare homozygotes)
