Cells were treated with 1, 5 and 10 mM of sodium butyrate for 48 h and apoptosis was detected by annexin-V and PI staining and analyzed by flow cytometry for MCF-7 (a), MDA-MB-468 (b) and MCF-10A (c). A significant increase in the percentages of early apoptotic cells were detected in both cells. Data represent Mean ± SD of three separate experiments. .
