Animals were pre-treated during 10 days with CDE (25, 50 and 100 mg/kg b.w., p.o.) or vehicle (bidistilled H2O), challenged with a single oral administration of EtOH (4 g/kg b.w.) or NaCl 9‰ for 2 h.
